Terms of Service

Hush is a digital wellbeing app that analyzes your screen time and delivers personalized daily insights based on goals you select. Hush provides awareness and coaching — it does not block apps or enforce usage limits on your device.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Hush. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

• You sign in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Google account.
• You must grant Usage Access permission for the app to function. You may revoke this permission at any time in Android Settings, though core features will stop working.
• You may select one to three goals. Insights are generated per goal per day.
• Do not share your account or attempt to access another user's data.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage tracking or authentication
• Scrape or automated-access our APIs without permission
• Interfere with the service or other users' experience

Hush insights are generated by AI based on your usage patterns. They are for informational and self-reflection purposes only — not medical, psychological, or professional advice. If you have concerns about digital addiction or mental health, please consult a qualified professional.

Hush, its logo, design, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

We strive to keep Hush available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible. Insights depend on accurate usage data — if Usage Access is disabled, insights may be incomplete or paused.

You may stop using Hush at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends and your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hushis provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or zero if you use the free tier).

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
