Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Hush.

Hush is free to download and use. We may introduce optional premium features in the future — we'll always be transparent about pricing before anything changes.

Hush is available on Android devices that support Usage Access permission (Android 5.0+). You'll need to grant this permission during onboarding so Hush can read foreground app usage.

No. Hush focuses on insight and awareness, not hard blocks. We believe understanding your patterns is more sustainable than forced restrictions.

You can select one to three goals during onboarding. Each goal receives its own daily insight, report, and push notification.

You choose the delivery time in the app. The default is 9:00 PM in your local timezone. You can also opt for next-morning delivery.

Hush supports English, Arabic, Spanish, German, Portuguese at launch. Insights, reports, and notifications are written in the language you select.

During onboarding, Hush will guide you to Android Settings → Apps → Special app access → Usage access. Enable Hush, then return to the app. Without this permission, Hush cannot track foreground app sessions.

Hush collects foreground app usage sessions (app name, duration, timestamps), your selected goals, timezone, and insight delivery preferences. We use Google Sign-In for authentication. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You can delete your account from the app (Settings → Delete account) or by emailing us. All associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. See our Delete Account page for step-by-step instructions.
